
Alexander Vladimirovich Ivlev will become the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dynamo football club (Moscow). On Monday, October 6, the club launched the necessary corporate procedures for the registration of this appointment.
– Dynamo is a club with a great history, and a lot has been done in it in recent years, — says Alexander Ivlev. — We remember the games that pleased us and gave us hope, and specific failures, disappointments. Our common task now is to create a leading club with a stable and high–quality game that will delight fans and lead us to titles.
Alexander Ivlev is currently engaged in private consulting practice, is a member of the board of directors of a number of companies, participates in charitable projects. In recent years, he has also been a member of the Dynamo Advisory Board, for which he has been rooting since 1974.
Alexander Vladimirovich was born in Moscow in 1967, graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages with a degree in English and French translator. Later, he received a master's degree from the University of Chicago Business School and worked in senior positions in the Moscow office of the international consulting company Ernst & Young.
For many years, Ivlev has been included in the "Top 1000 Russian Managers" rating, and in 2016 he was named the winner in the "Best Senior Manager" nomination. He is a member of the organizing committee of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Public Council of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia. He has various state awards, including the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree.
From 2017 to 2020, he also headed the Supervisory Board of the Russian Anti-Doping Agency.
