The eighth round of the XXIV tournament "Never-Fading Stars" took place on August 27 at the Oktyabr Stadium and was dedicated to the memory of the Honored Master of Sports of the USSR, Honored Coach of the USSR Valentin Aleksandrovich Nikolaev.

1st match. The game swung from one gate to the other. In the second half, the teams created one goal moment each, but they could not break through the goalkeepers. Dynamo are ahead on the corners: three against one.
Victor Riveiro: I was overexcited before the game, but thanks to the defenders: they didn't run ahead, backed up my actions, encouraged me.
2nd match. Dynamo attacked more often and more dangerously. Stanislav Dubrovin stood out – after his two strikes it seemed that the ball should be in the net, but the goalkeeper also played well.
Viktor Losev: They don't hit the goal enough, they try to play the ball to the right. But the best is the enemy of the good.
3rd match. The game advantage of Dynamo was noticeable. Once their quick three-in-two counterattack was supposed to end with a goal, but a pass to the left turned out to be superfluous. Dubrovin was active again, could have scored, but on this day the goalkeepers did not want to miss him.
Alexey Kutsenko: We defend well, reliably, the opponent can't do anything. But the counterattack was ruined offensively, Volodya Skokov would have punched himself instead of a pass to a partner.
4th match. Eric Yakhimovich from the defense zone made a long pass to Alexei Kozlov, who was hiding at someone else's gate, and he sent the ball straight into the net from the summer. In the second goal, the actors remained the same, but the order changed – the goalkeeper beat off Alexei's mighty shot, and Eric finished off the ball in the goal. At the very end of the match, our defenders seemed to forget themselves and allowed Yuri Kovtun to easily soak up the score.
Eric Yakhimovich: I finally managed to play it right. The goal scored and the assist immediately lifted the mood.
The 5th match. The final game with the owners of the site. Dynamo immediately indicated their advantage: Dubrovin was not greedy with the transfer of the ball to Skokov, and he opened the account. Soon the ball, like a cannonball, stirred up the net after Kozlov's shot. The third goal was asking for, but Dynamo's passion in attacks was no longer enough.
Vladimir Dolbonosov: Despite the first three zero draws, I saw that the team is playing confidently, acting with a margin of safety. Therefore, there was no excitement from the very beginning, which was confirmed by the finish of the tour. All ten players participated in the games, and none of the substitutes let the team down. I believe that Dynamo's position in the standings is quite strong.

Andrei Alexandrovich turned 75 in August. On this landmark occasion, he came to the tournament after a very long break. The hero of the day was touched by the sleeve: "Can I take a picture with you?". Dressed elegantly and summery, with a smile on his face, he held in his hands a large branded package with a gift from FC Dynamo and attracted the attention of all those present.
