From the age of 13 he was in the structure of Dynamo Tbilisi, where he went from children's and youth teams to the main one. In July 2021, he moved to Russia, signing a five-year contract with Dynamo Moscow. He spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Ural Yekaterinburg and Rakuv in Poland.
Luka spent the spring part of the 2024/25 season on loan at Krylia Sovetov, having played 8 matches for them in the RPL.
A player of the Georgian national team, for which he made his debut in March 2023.
