The match of the 1/16 finals of the World Cup, held in the American Foxborough, ended in a draw 1:1, and in the penalty shootout the Paraguayans were more accurate – 4:3.
Juan Caceres entered the field in the starting lineup, took part in the scoring attack in the first half and was replaced in extra time in the 99th minute.
Now, in the 1/8 finals, the Paraguayans will play with the winner of the France – Sweden pair on July 5 (starting at 00:00 Moscow time).
