FIFA's international break in September has come to an end. Dynamo Moscow has delegated nine football players to various national teams.
For the first autumn training camp, the head coach of Dynamo and the Russian national team Valery Karpin called several football players of our club — Maxim Osipenko, Danil Glebov, Anton Miranchuk and Ivan Sergeev. However, one Miranchuk took part in the home meeting with Jordan, which ended in a goalless draw, coming on as a substitute in the 87th minute.
In a friendly match with Qatar, which took place in Riyadh, the representation of Dynamo on the field has significantly expanded. Karpin's wards won a big victory with a score of 4:1, and one of the goals was scored by Sergeev, who also scored an assist. In addition to the blue and white striker, Miranchuk and Osipenko were in the starting lineup of the national team. Maxim played the whole match, Anton and Ivan got 75 minutes of playing time each, Glebov appeared on the field in the 64th minute.
The Cameroon national team won a landslide victory over Eswatini (3:0) as part of the African selection for the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. Nicolas Ngamaleu was in the starting lineup and played the whole game without substitutions, without being noted for effective actions in the protocol. After this victory, the wards of Belgian specialist Marc Brice scored 15 points and continued to breathe into the back of the Cape Verde national team.
In the away meeting with the leader of Group D, Cameroonian football players could not crack the opponent's defense, losing with a minimum score (0:1). Thus, the gap between the "indomitable lions" and the "blue sharks" increased to four points. Ngamaleu came on as a substitute closer to the end of the match – in the 87th minute.
In the 17th round of the South American qualifying tournament for the 2026 World Cup, the national team of Paraguay drew with Ecuador (0:0). Juan Jose Caceres spent the entire match on the field and became the best player of the meeting according to the statistics. Thus, the Paraguayans, led by Argentinean Gustavo Alfaro, secured a ticket to the World Cup for the first time in 16 years, being ahead of the nearest pursuer – the Venezuelan national team – by seven points a round before the finish of the selection in the CONMEBOL zone.
A few days later, Alfaro's wards completed their performances in the selection on a major note, breaking the resistance of the Peruvian national team with a score of 1:0. This time Caceres remained in reserve, came on as a substitute in the second half (at the 68th minute) and ten minutes later gave an assist to Mathias Galarsa.
The Russian youth team lost in the first friendly match of the Saudi Arabia U23 national team (1:2). Ivan Shabarov invited three Dynamo players to the September training camp, two of whom went to other clubs on loan during the summer pre-entry period: Stanislav Bessmertniy joined the ranks of the capital's Rodina, and Denis Bokov moved to Spartak Kostroma. Bessmertniy started the meeting with the Saudis in the starting lineup and spent 79 minutes on the field. Bokov came on as a substitute in the 87th minute, while Viktor Okishor remained in reserve.
The second meeting with the Saudi Arabia U23 team turned out much better for Ivan Shabarov's team. Russian football players took convincing revenge, scoring three times and conceding only one goal in the end (3:1). Bokov started the match at the start and played 90 minutes before the substitution. Okishor came out immediately after the break, returning to the field after being injured earlier, but Bessmertniy remained in reserve.
