On Monday, Dynamo striker Ivan Sergeev turns 31.
Ivan was born in Cherepovets and started his football career in his hometown. After graduating from school, he went to Moscow, where he was taken to Strogino. Later he played for Tambov, Torpedo and Samara Wings of the Soviets. In the 2020/21 season, Sergeev scored 43 goals in 46 matches and helped the team return to the Premier League, where he made his debut in July 2021.
Six months later, Ivan moved to Zenit, where he won 7 trophies, becoming a three-time champion of Russia, a three-time winner of the National Super Cup and the winner of the Cup of Russia. In September 2024, Sergeev returned to Krylia Sovetov, and in July 2025, he signed a contract with Dynamo and has since scored 11 goals in 39 matches.
He also scored three goals in 11 games for the Russian national team.
