The ninth round of the XXIV tournament "Unquenchable Stars" took place on Wednesday, September 10, on the reserve field of the Oktyabrsky Stadium and was dedicated to the memory and 100th anniversary of the Honored Master of Sports Sergei Sergeevich Salnikov (1925-1984). The teams played the IFF President's Cup.

1st match. "Railwaymen" (future winners of the tour) showed a strong game. They surpassed our team in the number of shots and in the number of corners, and in general in the pressure on the goal. In the first half, playing against the sun, Victor Riveiro parried two strong shots in a throw and won a one-on-one duel. But it was impossible to repel the strongest shot in the "six" – 0:1.
Andrey Smetanin: There can be no complaints about Riveiro. I say this with knowledge, as a goalkeeper.
2nd match. Spartak players (the closest pursuers of Dynamo) offered open football, so the game looked good. Alexey Mironov, when he scored a goal, created a small masterpiece: having tamed the ball, he changed his mind on the move to hit with his right and struck with his left foot. The goalkeeper was deceived in expectation, and the ball got tangled in the net – 1:0.
Alexey Mironov: I saw the goalkeeper's position clearly, he was clearly expecting a blow with a false swing. All I have to do is hit the exact left corner.
3rd match. The army men (the owners of the site) imposed a tight fight across the entire rectangle of the field. For the entire match, Dynamo managed only once to deceive the vigilance of rivals, when, after a cunning transfer from Mironov, Vladimir Skokov missed an empty corner of the goal. As a result – 0:0.
Alexey Kutsenko: With each game we add to the meaningfulness of attacks. What is missing? Probably luck.
4th match. Against the former Torpedo team, the victory was brought by a realized free kick. The master of this business, Eric Yakhimovich, did not hit the goal, but purposefully addressed the ball to Stanislav Dubrovin. An instant shot without a part–time job - goal. 1:0!
Stanislav Dubrovin: Both the goalkeeper and the defenders were guarding the gate, so it was necessary to hit right away, without hesitation.
The 5th match. Alexey Mironov (the best player of the tour) missed his moment to open an account in this match. And then suddenly there was a ridiculous goal in the Dynamo gate. Striving to rehabilitate themselves and forgetting about the defense, Dynamo began to miss sharp counterattacks. As a result, we suffered an insulting defeat – 0:3.
Viktor Losev: The defenders forgot about their direct duties and ran forward. The opponent took advantage of this – that's the whole secret of defeat.
