Dynamo Moscow head coach Valery Karpin answered journalists' questions after the match with Baltika (1:1).
— What went wrong today? What is the reason for the dim Dynamo game? Apart from the goal, there were no more chances in the second half.
— The same Gladyshev hit dangerously from the penalty area, there were some other moments. But it's not about goals and moments. The game, to put it mildly, did not please anyone. I'll tell the players why. First of all, I was not pleased with the game in attack. Everything that was prepared and had to be done was not done.
— You came to the club with great traditions and expectations. Do you feel any additional pressure in this regard?
— Pressure is a big word. People feel pressure when they work in a factory and they don't get paid. Football is a game. Everything happens in football, there is pressure and thank God.
— Maxim Osipenko showed a good game in attack, won the fight, but the missed goal was missed when he did not have time to run after the striker. There is no feeling that he gives more plus to the attack than to the defense? How would you rate his debut?
— He has never lost a single combat in his own half of the field. As for the goal, we still need to see. It seemed to me that there was a flaw not only Osipenko. I think he stopped when he saw Lunev coming to intercept. I rate his game, like everyone else, unsatisfactorily.
— The obviously affected standard worked. Did everything turn out exactly as it was in training?
— Not exactly like that, but we planned to bring the player to the strike. "Baltika" left the striker in the center of the field, and the selection was free, so they played this combination, and it turned out that way. Although in this particular episode, the attacker was on the penalty line.
— Are you going to use Diego Laxalt on the left flank of the defense?
— When he's healthy, we'll see.
