He was one of the most promising football players of the 1970s. A hugely talented central striker who debuted for Dynamo at the age of 17 and immediately secured a place in the main squad. He was physically developed and had excellent speed. He had a keen sense of goal, thanks to which he became one of the best scorers in the team and the country during his career. He played brilliantly with his head, despite his short stature.

On the field, he skillfully used his physical abilities: due to his dense build, he pushed back defenders and kept the ball or chose the most advantageous position to complete the attack. In addition, he had good technique, so he often beat his opponents with deceptive movements. He always acted rationally, had an excellent strong and accurate strike.

He died tragically in 1974 due to an accident. Many experts and fans note that one can only guess what heights he would have reached as a player. Some have suggested that it could have been a player of the calibre of Cruyff or Van Basten due to their similar playing style and talent.
