Kevin Kurányi

Legendary Dynamo center forward of Brazilian origin with German citizenship. One of the best players in his position in the championship in the first half of the 2010s. Tall, athletic, with good technique, he was a real goalscorer. He always fought to the end, played out not the most obvious episodes until the goal, flawlessly opened up for passes from his teammates.

On the field, he stood out for his size and ability to handle the ball. He could run away from defenders and effectively beat the goalkeeper after a penetrating pass from his teammates. Inside the penalty area, he regularly outplayed the opponents' defense in the air or chose a more competent position, finishing crosses and overhead passes with goals.

He spent most of his career at Dynamo, but due to personal circumstances, in 2015 he moved to the German Hoffenheim. He announced his retirement as a professional footballer in 2017, citing his age and desire to take care of personal matters.
