A versatile footballer of the post-war period. He could play in any position: from striker to defender. His strength and physical development allowed him to act with high efficiency in both a forceful and creative manner. He was one of the harbingers of total football, which became a trend twenty years later. In parallel with football, he played bandy, where he also achieved serious success.

He had a cannon shot with both feet, a unique manner of dribbling with a wide step, high speed and reliable heading. In midfield, he gave a lot of work, actively supporting his partners in attack and confidently acting in defense. Thanks to his stable play, he favorably emphasized the creative sides of his more technical teammates.

He scored one of the last goals in his career against Arsenal London. After football, he worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a diplomatic courier. In this position, he repeatedly distinguished himself by his courage and resourcefulness in protecting diplomatic mail and was awarded state awards.
