Yuriy Avrutskiy

One of the team's top scorers in the second half of the 1960s. He stood out for the ease of his movements, high technique and understanding of his teammates. He had an extraordinary sense of goal and was always ready to share the ball with his teammates. He finished attacks equally well with his head and feet. He was remembered for his bright play and beautiful goals when he was in good shape - everything worked out on the field.

He could dribble past the opponent's defense and finish his slalom with a spectacular shot under the crossbar. He also stood out for his reading of episodes and impeccable participation in combination play. He knew how to reliably hold the ball and cover it with his body. He played superbly with his head in the opponent's penalty area.

He spent most of his career at Dynamo. In the early 1970s, he played for Shakhtar Donetsk and Neftchi Baku. According to many experts, he did not realize his talent to the fullest, so he stopped playing on football fields quite early. In the 1990s, he worked as a machine tool adjuster, while regularly playing for the Dynamo veterans team.
