The event, organized jointly with the prefecture of the Northern Administrative District of Moscow and the State Budgetary Institution "MOSGORSPORT" of Moskomsport, was held on Wednesday, April 29, at the Tushino stadium.
Dynamo Moscow goalkeeper Andrei Lunev and the blue-and-white forward Ivan Sergeev played squares with 15- and 16-year-olds from the football section of the State Budgetary Institution "MOSGORSPORT" of the Moscow Sports Committee, kicked shots at the goal, and demonstrated useful exercises. After the sports section, the Dynamo players answered the young players' questions, signed autographs, took commemorative photos, and presented Dynamo souvenirs.
The location of the master class was not chosen by chance. By 2029, a base for the Dynamo Central Academy will be built in Yuzhnoye Tushino, where approximately 300 boys and girls will learn football free of charge. The club plans to continue holding social events and activities for residents of the district and surrounding areas.
As part of the construction, a large, modern recreational area with walking paths, extensive landscaping, a beach area, children's and workout areas, and other entertainment will be created for local residents. It will become a new attraction for relaxation, strolls, and pleasant pastimes. The Academy's infrastructure will also be partially used for the needs of the city residents.
– It's great that such events are held for young football players, with whom it was very interesting for me to talk. The place chosen for the club Academy is really cool and symbolic. After all, the Dynamo Academy bears the name of the best goalkeeper in the history of football, the legendary Lev Yashin. It was in Tushino that the future owner of the Golden Ball took his first serious steps in football, playing for the team of the factory where he worked as a boy during the war years," Andrei Lunev shared his impressions of the event.
Lev Yashin Dynamo Academy is one of the most successful in the country. Over the past five years, it has been recognized three times as the best football academy in the capital. Thanks to her, the blue and white are consistently leaders in the number of played pupils among RPL clubs. Since 2020, more than 20 Academy graduates have made their debut in the main team, including Arsen Zakharyan (the best young player of Russia in 2021), Konstantin Tyukavin (the best football player of the 2023/24 season) and Yaroslav Gladyshev (the third player in the history of the Russian national team to score 4 goals in one match).
