The match of the 2nd round of the group stage of the Russian Cup will take place on Wednesday, August 13, at VTB Arena and will begin at 20:45.
Frolov will be assisted by linesmen Dmitry Mosyakin and Hamid Talaev. Alexander Mashlyakevich has been appointed reserve referee, and Alexander Gonchar will be the match inspector. Pavel Kukuyan and Artem Chistyakov will be responsible for the video Referee Assistance System (VAR).
Previously, Frolov had never served the official matches of the blue and whites as the chief referee.
