Before the match with Orenburg, Dynamo midfielder Danil Glebov spoke about the adaptation in the team, the emotions from the debut in the match with the former team and his original nicknames.
— This week you returned to the general group. Will you be fully ready for the match with Orenburg?
— I feel good now, I missed training with the team. I hope I can help the team this Saturday.
— For the first time in 3.5 years you missed the national team training camp. Was it unusual to watch matches on TV?
— Actually, it's very hard for me to watch the games on TV, it's a completely different emotion. When you're on the field, it's much easier. I liked both games, the drawing was visible, and it was very cool that there were a lot of young players on the field.
— Do you watch football at home often? Which championships are you following especially closely?
— During these two weeks I have watched all the games of our championship and Cup, and so I prefer to watch reviews of the matches of the Spanish championship, the Champions League, sometimes the English Premier League.
— You have been on the team for more than a month. How has the process of adaptation in the team gone?
— The adaptation is going well, I feel calm. I knew a lot of guys before the transition, so that also played a big role in the adaptation. I communicate with all the guys, I won't single out anyone.
— When you first joined Rostov, Dmitry Skopintsev gave you the nickname "mini-man". Do you have a special nickname for him?
— Skopa is a unique person, kind, sympathetic. For me, he's just crazy.
— What else did the teams call you in the original way?
— In addition to the mini-man, they also called him a bulldog. The physiotherapist at Rostov gave me this nickname, explaining that I was angry and aggressive in a good way.
— How do you like working with Marcel Licka? Are you already used to all his requirements?
— Marcel is working well, I'm getting used to the new requirements. There is nothing particularly complicated, the main thing is attentiveness and concentration.
— In the Rostov scheme, you were periodically dropped by the fifth defender during the defense. Will you be able to play in the center of defense if there are problems with the central defenders again?
— If necessary, then, of course, I will play. In this regard, you need to be ready to enter any position.
— You made your debut for Dynamo in a match with your former team. What feelings prevailed when you entered the Rostov Arena field?
— It's hard to describe these emotions. These two days have passed very strangely: it seems to be in Rostov, but not at the base, like a game, and you're in another locker room. Everything was a blur, but I was very warmly welcomed in Rostov, and, of course, I felt it.
— There is a big chance that you will have to play with Rostov again in the Cup draw. Would you like to meet them again?
— Of course. God grant them and us to get to the finals of the RPL Path.
— After the winter break, Dynamo is still performing unevenly. What was missing in the last matches with CSKA and Lokomotiv?
— Quite good games turned out, especially with Lokomotiv. In the first half, it seems to me that we scored 2-3 goals, but, unfortunately, there was not enough implementation somewhere, the opponent played well somewhere. I think that after the pause our result will be more positive.
— Everyone remembers the episode when, after the first goal for Rostov, you dyed your beard in club colors. Do you have any idea how you will celebrate the first goal for Dynamo?
— We will discuss and come up with something interesting. The main thing is to score this goal as soon as possible.
— Marcel described your transfers with Caceres as follows: "These players will give us more aggression on the field. So far Dynamo is a good team of gentlemen who sometimes lack tough music in the spirit of hard rock or heavy metal." Do you listen to this kind of music?
— I don't really know much about rock, but there are a couple of Linkin Park and Skillet songs on the playlist.
— There is an important match ahead with Orenburg. Are you surprised that the team, which performed so well in the previous two seasons, is now in last place?
— A little surprised. Orenburg has always played very well at home and scored a lot of points in home games, but this season everything is different, but this is football, it happens.
— Both Dynamo and Orenburg still play more on the attack. How many goals can the fans expect on Saturday?
— The main thing is to leave zero in the goal count, score as many goals as possible and try to show a high–quality game.
