In October, 12 blue and white football players took part in the matches of their national teams.

Valery Karpin initially called up five Dynamo players to the main Russian national team, but Daniil Fomin soon returned to the club's location due to an overload condition. The other four took part in the winning game with Iran (2:1) in Volgograd: Maxim Osipenko and Anton Miranchuk played 90 minutes each, who scored an assist, and Danil Glebov left the field in the 68th minute when Ivan Sergeev appeared on it.

On Tuesday at the VTB Arena, the Dynamo striker was already in the starting lineup and scored an assist and the third goal in the match with Bolivia, which ended with a crushing victory of the Russians (3:0). Osipenko spent the second half on the field, and Miranchuk and Glebov remained in reserve.

The Russian youth national team played twice on the road with peers from Belarus. In the first meeting, which ended with the victory of the hosts with a score of 2:0, Denis Bokov played 68 minutes, and Egor Smelov and Viktor Okishor – in half. In the second (1:1), Kurban Rasulov made his debut for the "youth team", and Okishor and Sideline played 55 minutes each.

The group stage of selection for the 2026 World Cup has ended in Africa. In the away game against Mauritius (2:0), Cameroonian forward Nicolas Ngamaleu scored the winning goal, after which he was replaced in the 75th minute. He did not take part in the home game with Angola (0:0). Cameroonians took second place in their group and will now play in the play-offs in November.

The national team of Kazakhstan, in turn, lost even theoretical chances to get to the World Cup. Bakhtiyor Zaynutdinov's goal (played 62 minutes) helped her beat Liechtenstein at home (4:0), after which the Kazakhstanis drew with North Macedonia on the road (1:1), which deprived her of leadership in the group. In Skopje, Zainutdinov spent 85 minutes on the field.

Paraguay and Uruguay, who have already qualified for the main tournament of the quadrennial, went on an Asian tour. Nicolas Marichal took part in both matches of the Uruguayans in Malaysia, in which they beat the Dominican Republic (1:0, Niko played 45 minutes) and Uzbekistan (2:1, 90 minutes). Juan Caceres completely spent the Paraguayan game with Japan (2:2), scoring an assist, after which he remained in reserve in the match with South Korea (0:2).
