Dynamo lost to CFR Cluj in friendly at first VTB training camp

Dynamo were defeated by CFR Cluj from Romania by 0:1.

Two 19-year-old players appeared in the starting line-up of Dynamo for the first time. Central midfielder Vladislav Galkin established himself in matches for Dynamo-2, while centre-back Saba Sazonov is currently on trial. Alexander Kutitsky came out as a defensive midfielder, and the Uruguayan new left-back Diego Laxalt stayed on the bench.

The Romanian side will start their UEFA Champions League qualifying campaign in a week and a half, that’s why they should be better prepared physically. Despite this fact, Dynamo organized active pressing from the first minutes and didn’t let the opponent show themselves.

Tyukavin and Igboun could break the deadlock but Sandomierski looked confident at goal. The Polish goalkeeper took part in the single goal of the match. He sent the ball towards Dynamo penalty area where Omrani benefited from Skopintsev’s sclaff and hit the target by a marvelous strike.

During the break, Sandro Schwarz made six substitutions in a row looking forward to change the situation. Gladyshev and Grulyov could equalise but both missed luck in search for goal. Two teams didn’t manage to keep high pace due to hot weather conditions. Leshchuk showed himself within the second half reacting brilliantly and saving Dynamo twice from the second disappointment.

The next friendly is scheduled on July 30. The White-Blues will face SK Dynamo České Budějovice from Czech Republic. Kick-off time is at 19:00.
