Carrascal's brace helped Dynamo defeat Orenburg

The meeting of the 22nd round of the Russian Premier League, held at VTB Arena, ended with the victory of our team with a score of 5:1.

Compared to the match against Lokomotiv, there were only two changes in the starting lineup of the blue and whites: Juan Caceres was replaced in the center of defense by Alexander Kutitskiy, Bitello took the place of Arthur who injured his shoulder, and Danil Glebov came out as the third central midfielder.

As expected, both teams showed the maximum attitude to attack. Already in the first minutes, Jorge Carrascal brought Bitello one-on-one with the goalkeeper of Orenburg – unfortunately, the Brazilian could not beat him. Two times the partners brought Carrascal himself to the striking position, and both times he hit the net from the outside.

The guests responded sharply. At first, Emirjan Gyurlyuk shot from the penalty line - our goalkeeper reacted. In the next episode, the ball even hit the net after Maxim Savelyev was the first to take a rebound. Fortunately, the goal was canceled due to offside.

After a stormy start, the game calmed down a bit only to explode in the final ten minutes. At first, Dynamo's success was brought by a clever corner draw – Bitello rolled down into the center of the penalty area, Carrascal beat the defender and drove the ball into the far corner – 1:0.

Three minutes later, Yaroslav Mikhailov made a mistake and rolled the ball right on the foot of Yaroslav Gladyshev, who brought Carrascal to the ideal position for a shot, and the Colombian scored the first double in his Dynamo career. At the very end, Dmitry Rybchinsky had a good moment to reduce the gap in the score, but Danil Glebov rushed under his blow from close range, and as a result, the ball passed next to the bar.

At half-time, Roberto Fernandez, who received a yellow card, was replaced by Nicolas Marichal. In one of the first attacks of the second half, Carrascal almost scored for the third time – Bitello went into the penalty area, Bogdan Moskvichev swept the ball right on Jorge's foot, after which he corrected himself by deflecting a powerful point-blank shot.

And yet, in the 60th minute, the score became large. Dmitry Skopintsev decided to make a long-range shot, the ball hit Daniil Fomin's leg, bounced to Bitello, and the "number ten" of the blue and whites hit the target – 3:0!

Soon, Marcel Licka made a double substitution, releasing Denis Makarov and Nicolas Ngamaleu, and it played out almost immediately. Makarov passed into the center of the penalty area to Bitello, who rolled back to Luis Chavez, who sent the ball into the top corner with a beautiful twisted shot. Soon Denis himself hit the goal with a shot from the penalty line, but the referee fixed the offside. And then the guests managed a beautiful combination, which was completed by Said Sakharkhizan with a blow to the upper corner – 4:1.

And it wasn't over yet. For the last 15 minutes, Dmitry Alexandrov and Viktor Okishor appeared on the field, who was destined to put the final point in the match. In the first added minute, Dmitry Skopintsev threw an 18-year-old midfielder into a breakthrough, he burst into the penalty area, cleverly moved surrounded by three rivals and hit the far corner!

Dynamo scored 42 points and moved up to fourth place in the standings. In the next match, Dynamo will play away from CSKA on April 6.
