Grulev’s brace and Zakharyan’s late goal helped Dynamo to finish the season positively by beating CSKA (3:2).
Today, Dynamo fans celebrated 45th anniversary since the beginning of organized support. They stretched a big banner at the D stand.
However on the pitch, CSKA stroke first. In the 18th minute, Tiknizyan opened the score with a powerful close-range strike. Tyukavin had the best chance at Dynamo in the first 45 minutes but his shot from inside the box was stopped by Akinfeev.
In the second half, Dynamo players reacted perfectly after some vital substitutions and turned the game around thanks to Vyacheslav Grulev’s brace (on 65th and 72nd minutes).
Five minutes later Chidera Ejuke broke through Dynamo defensive line, dribbled past Leshchuk and fired a shot. Roman Yevgenyev tried to save the goal, but only diverted the ball into his own net. Soon Arsen Zakharyan's deflected shot after a swift counter-attack gave Dynamo the lead. CSKA attempted to equalize and in added time Igor Leshchuk made a sensational full-stretch save securing an emotional comeback victory for the White-Blues.
Grulev was recognized as the best player of the match by the experts of the national broadcaster.
He came out as a substitute and bagged his first brace in the first team.
Dynamo ended up the season in seventh with 50 points.
