Chita hosted the Marathon of Kindness family sports festival organized by Highland Gold Mining company and Dynamo Moscow football club.
The event has become one of the largest charity projects in the region in recent years. Guests of the holiday earned special "charges", which will be converted into cash and transferred to the trans-Baikal branch of VORDI as part of the corporate charity project "Highland Gold". The festival was attended by more than 200 Chita residents, who together collected 715 charges or 715,000 rubles.
The special guests of the holiday were the legendary Dynamo players Eric Yakhimovich, Maxim Romashchenko and Alexander Tochilin. Veterans of the blue and whites held master classes for students of the city's sports sections, and also met with the Lilac Ball adaptive football team.
— More than 40 children took part in our master classes, and you should have seen with what passion and enthusiasm they play! We tried to show those exercises that lay a certain foundation for young football players. I hope the boys will take something for themselves and maybe someday, after winning the Russian championship, they will say that at one time a master class from Dynamo players gave them this impulse," shared Tochilin.

— The Marathon of Kindness is a unique event, it allows us — families going the difficult way of "special parenthood" — to feel the support of others. We could not even think that so many people would join us, that we would be able to collect so many charges and funds together in just one day. It's amazing! And this certainly inspires and gives strength to continue fighting for the future of our children. Thanks to all the participants, — said Maria Yatsuk, Chairman of the regional branch of the Trans-Baikal Territory, head of the Lilac House Center in Chita.
More than 15 themed playgrounds for the whole family worked at the festival: skate zone, adaptive games, modern variations of ball games: techball, dodgeball, panna-football, sabsokker. The organizers of the holiday also provided creative workshops - Chita residents baked pancakes, shoppers painted, created their own sticker packs and origami sneakers.

— Sport is not only about achievements and improvement of physical fitness, but also about the opportunity to unite in order to achieve something more, — said Vyacheslav Kostin, head of Highland Gold state support in the Trans-Baikal Territory. — For the second year in our company, the Marathon of Kindness project has been going on — employees are engaged in sports, participate in volunteer actions and earn charges, which we turn into real assistance to children's institutions in the six regions of the group's presence. The company regularly supports various projects in Transbaikalia: we purchase equipment for schools, sponsor boxing, tennis, and dance tournaments, and participate in the construction of a modern sports complex in Chita. It is important for us that every child has a chance to reach their potential. And today, together with the residents of the region, we were able to take another step in this direction.
The festival ended with an autograph session with Dynamo veterans and a raffle of prizes among all participants: a family certificate to one of the sports shops with a face value of 25 thousand rubles, T-shirts signed by Dynamo and other valuable gifts.
