The first meeting at the winter training camp, held in Doha, ended with the victory of the blue and white with a score of 3:1.
For the first half, our team came out in the following line-up: Lunev, Bessmertniy, Balbuena, Smelov, Skopintsev, Laxalt, Alexandrov, Makarov, Carrascal, Ngamaleu and Mauhub. At the same time, the captain in the center of defense was paired with 19-year-old Egor Smelov.
The first 45 minutes were spent in an equal struggle with a small amount of sharpness at the opponents' goal. The most dangerous moment arose in the middle of the half, when Balbuena struck the post after a corner, and on finishing Alexandrov sent the ball higher. Zenit did not have enough accuracy for the promising strikes of Gorshkov and Mostovoy.
During the break, Marcel Licka completely changed the lineup, and the following players entered the field: Leshchuk, Dasa, Marichal, Kutitskiy, Fernandez, Gagnidze, Fomin, Gladyshev, Okishor, Artur and Bokov.
The half started with two Leshchuk saves after strikes by Wendel and Nino, the blue-and-white success brought another corner kick: in the 58th minute, Artur put a great weight in the center of the penalty area and Marichal hit his head right on target – Sobolev knocked the ball out when he had already crossed the goal line.
12 minutes later, Dynamo implemented another standard: Fomin spun the ball from a free kick into the bottom corner of the Latvian's goal, from whose gloves he went into the net. In the 80th minute, Zenit soaked up the score thanks to a goal by Sobolev, who played on finishing after Leshchuk with the exit of the Bridge. But the intrigue did not last long – soon Gladyshev clearly realized his one-on-one way out, setting the final score in the match.
It should be noted that Tyukavin, Chavez and Bitello, who missed the start of the training camp, trained separately on another field. With this, the first training camp has come to an end, and Dynamo is waiting for 4 days off, after which they will gather on February 1 in Abu Dhabi.
