The meeting for the fifth place of the Winline of the RPL Winter Cup, held in Abu Dhabi, ended with the defeat of the blue and white with a score of 0:4.
Of those who started the match with Spartak from the first minutes, only Bitello and Alexander Kutitskiy, who returned to the center of defense, where he was paired with Egor Smelov, entered the starting lineup. Another young Dynamo player Denis Bokov appeared at the forefront of the attack.
Rostov residents, who came out with almost the strongest squad, started the meeting very actively, using high pressure, and quickly opened an account. In the 7th minute, after the confusion in the penalty area of Andrei Lunev, the ball turned out to be Ivan Komarov, who passed to Egor Golenkov, and the textured forward sent the ball into the net. Soon he almost ran to the goal, and only for a moment our goalkeeper beat him.
Gradually, the blue and white took the initiative and began to approach Daniil Odoevsky's possessions more and more often. The first long–range shots of Yaroslav Gladyshev and Daniil Fomin did not reach the goal, but Bitello's shot from the penalty line was very dangerous - the goalkeeper of Rostov hardly transferred it to the corner. In another episode, Daniil Fomin fell in the penalty area after contact with a defender, but Ivan Abrosimov's whistle was silent.
From time to time Dynamo managed to make quick counterattacks. At first, Bokov ran to the penalty area, but he didn't get a shot, and a little later Gladyshev from the same position punched into the near corner, where, after a rebound from a defender, Odoevsky parried with his foot.
Rostov scored again: Golenkov took the ball on the penalty line, passed it to Mohammad Mohebi, and the Iranian beautifully twisted it into the far corner. Already in the added time, the Rostov bombers switched places, and Golenkov scored a double from the transfer of Moheby.
Despite the discouraging first half, no substitutions were made during the break. Rostov scored again pretty quickly: Luka Gagnidze played unsuccessfully at his penalty box, Ronaldo fell out one-on-one with Lunev and sent the ball to the far corner.
In the 58th minute, the first fresh players appeared on the field - Andrei Kudravets, Stanislav Bessmertniy, Dmitry Alexandrov, Viktor Okishor – and the blue and white squad became quite young. This had its effect, the ball from Dynamo began to go faster, but there were still not enough accentuated actions in the final third.
Rostov earned a penalty in a rare attack after the ball hit the hand of Dmitry Skopintsev, who was interrupting the canopy into the penalty area. Nikolai Komlichenko approached the ball, struck powerfully, but did not hit the target. Note that Kudravets guessed the direction of the blow. After that, the game finally calmed down, and only at one point did Imran Aznaurov run away to the Dynamo goal, but our goalkeeper reduced the angle of fire in time and did not allow himself to be transferred.
Dynamo will play against Lokomotiv in the next test match on February 15. The meeting will begin at 10:00 Moscow time.
