The project, implemented on the initiative of the VTB Arena and Dynamo Museum teams, is aimed at preserving and popularizing the rich sporting heritage of the legendary site, which has been home to our football club for almost 100 years.
The restoration of the historic grandstand was carried out with the active participation of FC Dynamo fans and is part of a comprehensive effort to preserve the historical memory of the Dynamo Society and develop modern museum formats that integrate cultural, sporting, and educational spaces.
The grand opening, which took place on April 19, was attended by Stanislav Kovalev, General Director of VTB Arena and the Dynamo Museum; Pavel Pivovarov, General Director of FC Dynamo; Anatoly Gulevsky, Chairman of the Dynamo Society; Roman Rotenberg, member of the Board of Directors of HC Dynamo; and Sergey Sushko, General Director of HC Dynamo.
The historic grandstand is a unique exhibition piece that allows visitors to visually trace the evolution of the stadium's spectator infrastructure. The exhibition is divided into three thematic sections, each featuring original or recreated examples of spectator seats from various periods in the stadium's history—the 1920s, 1960s, and 2000s. Visitors will be able to see how architectural solutions, materials, and approaches to fan comfort have evolved over the years.
