The match of the 14th round of the Russian Premier League with Fakel, held in Voronezh, ended with the victory of our team with a score of 2:1.
The only change from the match against Akhmat was in the goalkeeping position: Andrey Lunev has fully recovered and returned to the starting lineup. Otherwise, the lineup remained the same as before.
Just like a week ago, the match began with an early goal from Daniil Fomin. In the 3rd minute, Artur won a duel on the flank and passed to Bitello, who found our captain inside the penalty area; his shot took a slight deflection before nestling perfectly into the corner! Shortly after, Bitello nearly claimed a second assist when his corner-kick delivery found David, whose effort struck the frame of the goal. In another instance, Arthur sent a promising cross toward Gladyshev, but a defender managed to block the resulting shot.
The total dominance of the "White-Blues" should have led to a second goal, but the hosts unexpectedly managed to equalize. In the 12th minute, Juan Cáceres played a poor cross-field pass near the penalty area; Vyacheslav Yakimov intercepted the ball and converted his one-on-one opportunity, making it 1–1.
Buoyed by the moment, the Voronezh side seized the initiative for a few minutes, earning several corners; however, Dynamo soon regained control of the ball, stringing together a series of positional attacks. The hosts managed to hold on, though only with great difficulty and by committing a high number of fouls. Bitello bore the brunt of these challenges, yet he also came closest to scoring, firing a shot from the edge of the penalty area that sailed just over the top corner. Late in the half, the referee issued two yellow cards to Artur within the span of three minutes, leaving our team a man down.
At halftime, the other Dynamo winger also left the pitch — Gladyshev was replaced by Maksim Osipenko. This shift saw Dynamo move to a three-center-back formation, with Cáceres and Rubens pushing further up the field during attacking phases.
Opportunities were scarce, however, as Fakel took the upper hand, applying intense pressure in the final third. In one such instance, a poor back-pass from Roberto Fernández allowed Yakimov to reach the ball first, but Lunev rushed off his line in time to thwart the attempt. Shortly after, Koksharov connected with a cross from the flank, but his effort found only the side netting.
Dynamo looked to inject new life into their attack by bringing on Josué Casimir in place of Cáceres. The move paid off: in the 72nd minute, Casimir won a foul on the right flank, resulting in a second yellow card for Darko Todorović, who was subsequently sent off. Dynamo immediately took possession and created a scoring chance: Tyukavin played the ball forward to Bitello, who sidestepped a defender and curled a shot toward the far top corner — but Igor Obukhov saved his team.
The hosts didn’t just sit back in defense, either. Belaid Pusi latched onto a long ball from deep, rounded Lunev, but — with the goal gaping — he failed to find the net from just a few meters out. Ultimately, however, it was the Muscovites who dominated the closing stages. Deep into stoppage time, Osipenko delivered a brilliant cross for Tyukavin, who confidently headed the ball right into the corner!
Dynamo have now reached 31 points, moving — at least temporarily — to the top of the league table. In the next round, they will host Krasnodar on November 22, and during the international break, on November 15, they are set to play an exhibition match against the media-league side FC 10.
