The away match of the RPL first round ended with a comfortable 2-0 win of the Moscow side.

From the first minutes, Sandro Schwarz fielded both South American newcomers who were touted as solid addition to Dynamo squad this summer. Laxalt and Balbuena completed the defensive line alongside with Ordets and Parshivlyuk. The usual trio Moro, Fomin and Szymanski came out in midfield, while the attacking group was made of Lesovoy, Zakharyan and Tyukavin.

The hosts were extremely active at the beginning of the first half when Osipenko and Glebov tried to surprise Dynamo from distance. But their attempts were denied by Shunin. The White-Blues’ reaction was not long in coming. Boy wonder Zakharyan opened the score in the 20th minute converting a great pass by Szymanski. Thirteen minutes later Pesyakov felt disappointment again. The Rostov goalkeeper made an impressive save after Balbuena’s header but remained helpless when another teenage star Tyukavin succeeded on the rebound.

After the break Dynamo continued to create goal chances, but the luck was not on the Moscow side. Ordets’ goal was called off after the referee flagged for offside. N’Jie and Lesovoy twice were on the edge of Dynamo fast counterattacks striking from favorable positions. However the score remained unchanged.

Dynamo won in Rostov-on-Don for the first time since 2014 and will play against Ufa in the next match on July 31.
