The Russian national team, led by Valery Karpin, held a friendly match with the Belarusian national team, which took place at the new arena in Minsk and ended with a major victory of the guests with a score of 4:1.
Yaroslav Gladyshev became the main hero of the match. The Dynamo striker was in the starting lineup for the first time, played 79 minutes and became the first player to score four goals for the Russian national team in one game since 2019.
