Mexican midfielder Luis Chavez shared his expectations for the upcoming friendly tournament with Chinese teams and spoke about his physical condition.
– How did you spend your vacation, with what mood did you return to the team?
– I was with my family in Mexico, then we spent a few days in the USA. I returned to Russia with a great desire, I already want to start training as soon as possible.
– We saw in the photo that Bitello came to Mexico to visit you. Tell us about his visit.
– I baptized my son in Mexico and I am glad that Bitello came. I understand that it's a long way to fly and not so fast, so it's nice that he visited me. We had a good time, he tried Mexican cuisine.
– Was he the godfather or was he just present at the baptism?
– He just flew in for my holiday.
– How is your physical condition? Are you ready to join the general group already at the first training camp?
– My knee still hurts a little, but I passed all the tests, and they told me that it's fine, there's nothing wrong. I want to start training as soon as possible, understand my condition, and then it will be seen when I return to the general group.
– How did you react to the appointment of Rolan Gusev as head coach?
– I'm glad. I saw that Rolan had a desire to coach the team. All the time we spent together, I felt comfortable, so I support his appointment as head coach. I hope that the team will enter the second half of the season well and will rise in the standings.
– What do you think about the upcoming BetBoom Dynamo Global Challenge tournament with Chinese teams?
– I don't know much about the Chinese league, but I have friends who played there. I know that there are many Brazilians performing there, as well as foreign players from other countries. I think the teams that are fighting for the first place there are quite strong. I am sure very good matches are waiting for us, it will be a great test for us.
