Dynamo midfielder Luis Chávez started the match and was substituted in the 64th minute. During his time on the pitch, he completed 27 passes with 85% accuracy and provided one key pass.
The Canadian national team faced Chile in Toronto, securing a narrow 1–0 victory. Following two sendings-off, Chile played with nine men from the 50th minute onwards. Dynamo forward Maximiliano Gutiérrez came on in the 62nd minute, recording one long-range shot and two key passes.
