— What is more important for you: the result or to work out some things in the game?
— The main thing is not to get injured, because the training process is underway. Of course, in friendly matches you always want to win, because any victory gives confidence. Especially when you play with such strong teams as Zenit, Krasnodar or Spartak. On the one hand, the result is not very important, on the other, mentally winning can help.
— There are several young players in the starting lineup. What can you say about them?
— Egor Smelov is a young midfield player who will play in the center of defense in the first half today. He played very well with Zenit, and today he will have to face Cordoba – it will be a great school for him. Dmitry Alexandrov is a very smart player who reminds me of Sergio Busquets. He doesn't have crazy speed, but he plays great in one or two touches, plus he helps at the standards due to his tall stature.
