Dynamo head coach Marcel Licka answered questions after the RPL Winter Cup match with Spartak (0:1).
— The team could not distinguish itself even once in two matches of the tournament. What's the problem?
— We had problems in moments when we took the ball in the middle of the field and made mistakes when going on the attack. There were many situations when we could part with the ball faster, move it faster. I don't want to justify it with heavy loads. Someone now has the strength for 60 minutes of the game, someone has more. But these are professional football players, and this is their job.
— Konstantin Tyukavin is silent so far. What is he failing at?
— Today he had situations where he could have played differently. A striker's job is to score goals. I hope that he will leave all his balls for the second part of the season.
— What happened at the moment with the missed goal?
— It was an accident. Nico could have solved the episode differently. For some reason, he turned back and gave a pass without seeing where the goalkeeper was. He had a reserve of several meters, so there was no need to panic and sort it out more calmly. Such mistakes happen even for big players, so it's good that it happened in a control game, and not in an official one.
