Marcel Licka: "I am sure that both teams will be ready to attack"

Dynamo head coach Marcel Licka in a flash interview with Match TV spoke about his expectations from the meeting with Zenit.

— Today is a very important game for both teams. Do you have a feeling that not winning against Zenit means saying goodbye to the top three?

— It will be an important game because we believe that we can get into the top three. And the theoretical loss of points in this match will be a big problem. I am sure that both teams are determined to win, so there will be a good football performance, and both teams will show a high-quality game. I'm really looking forward to this match.

— Did you say the word "performance", that is, are you expecting a large number of goals?

— At the word "performance" everyone thinks that the score will be 4:4 or something like that. But even if the game ends with a score of 1:0 or 1:1, this does not mean that the teams did not show a quality game. I am sure that both teams will be ready to attack, and we can see 2-3-4 goals.

— You have new losses. What about Dmitry Skopintsev and El-Mehdi Maouhoub?

— Skopa is sick. He had a fever on Thursday and didn't train yesterday. Mehdi felt pain in training, so they won't be here today.

— Sergey Semak, having looked at your squad, said that it is a little more defensive than usual. Is that so?

— No, today we have Roberto Fernandez on the left in defense, Chavez, Fomin and Glebov in the middle of the field, and Bitello, Gladyshev and Carrascal on the attack. If we wanted to put up a more defensive line-up, it would have been possible to release Kutitskiy or Laxalt into the defensive zone. So we will play according to the usual 4-3-3 scheme and stick to our philosophy of the game.
