The 22-year-old Dynamo centre-back Nicholas Marichal was included into the preliminary list of players who were called up by Marcelo Bielsa for the Olympic qualification tournament.
The Olympics qualifying campaign will be held in Venezuela from January 20 to February 11, 2024. At this tournament the Uruguayan national team will compete for one of the two South American spots.
Previously, Marichal went to the location of the U-21 national team, but did not play any match for it.
