From June 5 to June 7, the Trud Stadium hosted the next Simbirsk Cup among the teams born in 2016. Eight teams took part in the tournament: Dynamo Central Academy and its branches from Ulyanovsk, Barnaul, Voronezh, Veliky Novgorod and Kaspiysk, as well as Neftchi (Baku) and Krasnodar Academy.".
During the three game days, the teams demonstrated a high level of preparation, fighting spirit and a desire to fight until the last minute. The tournament was remembered for spectacular matches and a number of unexpected results that kept fans in suspense until the final whistle.
The winner of the "Simbirsk Cup" was the team of Moscow "Dynamo", which beat the pupils of the Academy "Krasnodar" in the final. Bronze medals of the tournament were won by the Dynamo team from Dagestan, which showed a stable and productive game.
All participants of the tournament received not only valuable gaming experience and a charge of emotions from a real football holiday, but also memorable gifts from the partner of the event — PJSC "SOLLERS". The organization of the competitions was held at a high level: clear regulations, refereeing, medical and logistical support created comfortable conditions for the games and recreation of the teams.
The tournament was made possible thanks to the joint work of the Central Academy of Dynamo, its branches, the Academy of Krasnodar, the Neftchi team and project partners. We thank all the coaches, parents, volunteers and organizers for their contribution to the development of youth football and for the atmosphere of friendship and competitive spirit that you have created during these three days.
