Mikhail Butovskiy is the new chief physician of Dynamo

The former doctor of the Russian national team Mikhail Butovskiy became the new chief doctor of Dynamo.

Mikhail graduated from the I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy and the State University of Management, specializing in "Healthcare and Sports Management." He holds a PhD in medicine and has authored and co-authored 28 articles in leading Russian and international publications.

From 2014 to 2021, he was part of the medical staff of the Russian men's national team, working at two World Championships and two European Championships. He began his career at club level with CSKA Moscow (2016-2019), where he won the Russian Super Cup and twice finished second in the Russian Premier League.

In the 2019/2020 season, Butovskiy was the head physician of Spartak Moscow, after which he held a similar position at Rubin Kazan for four and a half seasons.

Since May 2025, the 44-year-old specialist has been the chief physician of the National Center for Sports Medicine of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia.

Awarded the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, second degree.
