Nikolai Tolstykh turns 70!

On Friday, Nikolai Tolstykh, Deputy Chairman of the Dynamo Society, celebrates his anniversary.

Nikolai Aleksandrovich joined the Dynamo football school at the age of 11, successfully completing his studies and making his debut for the main team in the USSR Championship at 21. Playing in defense and midfield, he excelled in mobility and stamina, always playing with total dedication and maintaining strict discipline. In 1983, a serious injury forced him to retire and he transferred to an administrative position in the Dynamo Moscow City Council. In the late 1980s, he served as the manager of the main team, and in the 1990s and early 2000s, he served as the club's general director and president. Under his leadership, the white-and-blues repeatedly won the Russian Championship and the Russian Cup.

He also served as president of the Professional Football League, was a member of the UEFA Professional Football Committee, and from 2012 to 2015, headed the Russian Football Union. Since 2020, he has been deputy chairman of the Dynamo Football Association.

He was awarded the Order of Honor and the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland," 2nd Class.

We congratulate Nikolai Alexandrovich on his anniversary! We wish him good health, happiness, and prosperity. We always look forward to seeing him at his home team's matches!
