During the March break, six Dynamo football players took part in friendly matches of their national teams.
The Russian national team defeated Nicaragua 3-1 in Krasnodar, before drawing goalless with Mali in St. Petersburg. Konstantin Tyukavin was named the best player of the first match, first assisting Lechi Sadulaev and then earning and converting a penalty. Daniil Fomin (substituted in the 67th minute) and Yaroslav Gladyshev, who played the entire first half, also started.
Fomin and Tyukavin returned to the club after this match. Gladyshev remained on the bench for the second match.
The Russian U21 team played two friendly matches in Turkey. Kurban Rasulov and Viktor Okishor started the match against the Uzbekistan U21 team (2-1). In the first minute, Okishor delivered a corner kick, which Andrei Ivlev, another Dynamo alumnus, finished with a precise shot into the bottom corner. Rasulov missed a goal late in the first half, after which both players were substituted. In the second match against the Jordan U23 team (1-2), only Okishor played for one half.
The Paraguayan team played two friendly matches in Europe. First, the Latin American team, who had qualified for the World Cup, defeated Greece (1-0), then lost to Morocco (1-2). Juan Caceres played only in the second match, notching an assist and receiving a yellow card in 90 minutes.
