The award ceremony was held on Saturday, March 29, at VTB Arena before the start of the match between Dynamo and Orenburg.
Alexander Startsev, President of the Moscow Football Federation, presented Pavel Pivovarov, CEO of Dynamo FC, with the Moscow Government's Badge of distinction "For the Development of Moscow Sports". Thus, numerous regular activities were noted to popularize football and attract the interest of the audience – such as holding tournaments (BetBoom Bratsk Cup, BetBoom ISS) and show matches, student engagement programs, festivals tied to matches in Petrovsky Park, the opening of the BetBoom multifunctional Dynamo House in GUM, charitable and social projects club and so on.
In turn, the director of the Dynamo Academy Alexander Kuznetsov was awarded "For his contribution to the development of physical culture and sports in the city of Moscow, many years of conscientious work." The Dynamo Academy has been recognized as the best football academy in Moscow three times in recent years and is one of the best in Russia, and Dynamo is among the teams that most often use their own pupils in the main squad.
