Dynamo resumed classes on Tuesday after a two-day break, following a confident victory over Lokomotiv with a score of 2:0 (Konstantin Tyukavin scored a double). In Dubai, the team trains with minor changes in the composition: Stanislav Bessmertniy and Luka Gagnidze went on loan to Ural and Krylia Sovetov, respectively, and Leon Zaydenzal, Gleb Miroshnichenko and Alexander Khubulov came from Dynamo-2.

The right flank of the defense is designed to strengthen Juan Jose Caceres, who signed a contract with the blue and white until December 2029. The defender of the national team of Paraguay, where he played alongside Fabian Balbuena, took part in the match of the championship of Argentina 10 days ago, so he won't have to get in shape for a long time.

"Ural" last season, after 10 years in the RPL, left the strongest league in the country, losing in the play-off matches to Akron. Nevertheless, Yekaterinburg managed to keep most of the leaders, and by the new season of the First League they were among the main contenders for promotion.

However, the uneven first round of the post was given to the head coach Yevgeny Averyanov, who was replaced in November by the three-time champion of Russia as part of Zenit, Oleg Shatov, who only started his coaching career at Averyanov's headquarters in June. Under his leadership, the Urals won three matches and drew one, and also knocked Khimki out of the Russian Cup, where they remained the only representatives of the lower divisions. They are third in the First League standings.

While Shatov does not have the necessary license, and in the winter, Sergei Tomarov de jure took the post of head coach, and Miroslav Romashchenko, who once worked at Dynamo in Stanislav Cherchesov's headquarters, became his assistant.

There were quite serious changes in the composition: Alexey Ionov and Artur Yusupov ended their careers, Eric Biqualfi returned to Romania after 8 years in Yekaterinburg, and Leo Goglichidze moved to Akhmat. But it was not without acquisitions either: the Urals signed experienced goalkeeper Alexander Selikhov and forward Yevgeny Markov, and besides Bessmertniy, they also rented attacking midfielders Dmitry Kuchuruga and Daniil Kuznetsov.

It was Kuznetsov who led the team ahead in the recent test match with Zenit, but in the second half the Ural team missed three times and lost 1:3. On Tuesday, the Ural team parted in peace with Lokomotiv with a score of 2:2 – Martin Sekulich and Daniel Mishkich scored.

This season's leaders beat Dynamo (1:0), lost to Spartak (2:3), and in the match for third place they were stronger than CSKA (2:1). At the same time, John Cordoba became the top scorer of the tournament with three goals.

On Monday, the Bulls defeated the silver medalist of the Kazakhstan championship Astana with a score of 1:0. Eduard Spertsyan scored the only goal from the penalty spot, and Stanislav Agkatsev deflected an eleven-meter shot at the end of the meeting.
