In the October international break, 12 Dynamo players went to their national teams, although their number should have been even more, but first Dmitry Alexandrov suffered a knee injury, and a little later Daniil Fomin was sent back to the location of the club due to muscle fatigue.

An experienced coach quickly managed to raise the morale of Grozny residents, who immediately beat Zenit, and then completely gave out a seven-match winless streak in the Russian championship. It was interrupted only in the previous round, when Akhmat lost to Krasnodar on the road with a score of 0:2.

I remember that meeting with a grandiose scandal, when at the very end Usman Ndong hit Eduard Spertsyan in response to allegedly racist statements by the captain of Krasnodar, which, however, was not subsequently confirmed. Following the results of the proceedings, the KDC limited itself to a monetary fine against Spertsyan, and Ndong received two disqualification matches (one conditionally) and now will not play against Dynamo.

Akhmat goalkeeper Georgi Shelia is a graduate of the Academy of Moscow Dynamo.

Before Akhmat, Stanislav Cherchesov's last Russian club was Dynamo, which he headed in 2014-2015.

The top scorers of the confrontation in the history of the national championships are: Kevin Kuranyi (6 goals), Igor Semshov (3 goals) and Konstantin Tyukavin (3 goals).

The meeting was entrusted to Ranelu Ziyakov, who will be assisted by line judges Varanzo Petrosyan and Mikhail Ivanov. Vladimir Moskalev and Yevgeny Kukulyak will be responsible for the video Referee Assistance System (VAR).

Previously, the 35-year-old referee from Naberezhnye Chelny served the Dynamo match only once, when the blue and white beat Pari NN (2:1) in the cup meeting in November 2023.
