On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Abu Dhabi will host the group stage match of the Winline Winter RPL Cup between Dynamo Moscow and Krasnodar.

Team status
Dynamo on Sunday resumed classes at the winter training camp after a short break. At the first training camp in Qatar, mainly devoted to a set of physical conditions, our team played one test match, in which they beat Zenit with a score of 3:1. Goals were scored by Nicolas Marichal (after a corner kick), Daniil Fomin (free kick) and Yaroslav Gladyshev (after going one-on-one).
Konstantin Tyukavin, Luis Chavez and Bitello, who missed the start of the Qatar training camp, did not participate in the meeting. They will probably play at the tournament in Abu Dhabi, however, the coaching staff may take care of some of them in the first game. Milan Majstorovic, who is finishing his recovery after surgery, is likely to miss the tournament.
In total, 6 teams, divided into two groups, participate in the Winline Winter RPL Cup. Spartak also got into our group, and Zenit, CSKA and Rostov got into the second group. After the group stage, the group winners will meet in the final, the runners–up will compete for bronze, and the outsiders for fifth place. In case of a tie, a penalty shootout is scheduled in regular time.
About the opponent
Krasnodar has already started its journey at the tournament, losing to Spartak in the end – 2:3. The first half, in which the starting lineups played, was more active in red and white, but it ended in a draw – Joao Batchi answered Teo Bongonda's goal. After the break, the Bulls had reservists on the field, including Fedor Smolov and a number of young players who took the lead (Nikita Krivtsov scored), but could not keep the advantage. First, Daniil Zorin perfectly rolled out the ball to Roman Zobnin, and already in the added time he decided the outcome of the match himself.
— It is clear that they are tired, there is a lot of marriage in simple situations, the movement of the ball leaves much to be desired, – said the head coach of the bulls Murad Musayev. – You need to move the ball faster and play more vertically. My head understands what needs to be done, but my legs don't have time yet, so it was hard. Spartak started much more actively, then the game leveled up. In the second half, I was pleased with everything except the missed goals. We shouldn't concede such easy goals.
Krasnodar residents have been practicing in Abu Dhabi since January 14 in almost full force. The start of the training camp was missed only by John Cordoba, Lucas Olasa and Kevin Castagno, who received extra vacation days due to participation in the summer America's Cup. However, they have already gained the conditions and spent 45 minutes in the game with Spartak.
In the first control meeting in the UAE, Krasnodar played a draw with the bronze medalist of the Chinese Super League Chengdu Rongcheng (1:1). Kevin Lenini scored the only goal.
As for the changes in the composition of the RPL leader, they are minimal. There are no newcomers yet, but the young defender Georgy Harutyunyan, who joined the Pushkash Academy, and the forward of the Russian youth national team Alexander Koksharov, rented by Pari NN, have left the team.
The judging panel
Sergey Ivanov will serve the meeting, assisted by Alexey Lunev and Varanzo Petrosyan. Mikhail Cheremnykh was appointed reserve judge.
Previously, Ivanov served 31 official matches with Dynamo 31 times, in which the blue and white won 11 victories, suffered 12 defeats and drew 8 times.
