The BetBoom Fraternal Cup will be held in last year's format, where Dynamo and CSKA will take turns hosting OFC and Partizan at their home arenas, after which the winner of the trophy will be determined. In the summer of 2024, the Russian teams prevailed with a total score of 10:2 points.
Team status
Dynamo in the first match under the leadership of Valery Karpin scored three unanswered goals against 2DROTS, having played two halves with different teams. Ivan Lepskiy and Daniil Lesovoy, who returned from the arends, scored a goal each, and the defeat of the media team was completed by a branded twisted left-handed shot from Yaroslav Gladyshev. The 19-year-old goalkeeper Kurban Rasulov proved himself great, making several spectacular saves during the match and taking one penalty in a shootout.

Bitello, who gave an assist from a free kick, received an award for the best assistant of the last championship at the annual RPL award this week. He, along with Gladyshev, Daniil Fomin, Danil Glebov and Maxim Osipenko, was also included in the list of the "33 best football players" of last season.
The unpleasant news came from overseas: Luis Chavez was diagnosed with a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee, which he received in training before the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
However, there will be no shortage of players for the Dynamo coaching staff – the game with OFC will be a farewell for Kirill Panchenko, who will again take the field in his native club's T-shirt and say goodbye to the fans.
About the opponent
At the last Fraternal Cup, OFC players conceded six unanswered goals from Moscow teams after they returned to the Serbian Super League for the first time in 8 years (you can read more about the history of the club in our last preview). That tournament was an important stage in the preparation for the season, which the Belgrade team did really well.
In the regular season, the team of Simo Krunich, who has been in charge of the OFC since 2023, took third place, passing only two grandees ahead – moreover, they beat Partizan at home (3:2), and drew away with Red Star (3:3). In the playoff round, OFC won only two of seven matches and dropped to fourth place in the final table - the club's best result since the 2009/10 season, when they became third.
As a result, the team earned a ticket to the Conference League qualification, but will not play in it, as it could not get a UEFA license due to the restructuring process and debts.
Compared to the last visit to Moscow, the composition of the "Romantics" has undergone significant changes – this year the team was joined by 15 players, including defender Stefan Despotovski, who made his debut for the national team of North Macedonia in June, and Surinamese forward Gleofilo Vleiter.
However, it is unlikely that we will see the best scorer and assistant of the OFC last season in the case, since he just finished his performance at the CONCACAF Gold Cup this week. But again, the goalkeeper of the Montenegrin national team Balsha Popovic, as well as the players of the Serbian youth national team Alexei Vukicevich and Alexa Tsvetkovic should come to the Fraternal Cup.
