Denis was born in Togliatti, where he began his football career at the Yuri Konoplev Academy. Later he played for Yakutsk, Saransk, Orenburg-2, Neftekhimik and Rubin. In the summer of 2021, he joined Dynamo and has since scored 19 goals in 102 matches.

In October 2020, Denis made his debut in the youth national team of Russia, for which he played in the final part of the European Championship, and in the summer of 2021 he got into the final bid of the national team for the adult Euro.
