On Thursday, the Dynamo Moscow striker El-Mehdi Mauhub turns 22.
El-Mehdi was born in Casablanca and started his career at home in the capital's club FUS, making his debut at the highest level at the age of 17. In the 2022/23 season, he played on loan for Sual, after which he moved to the Raja Casablanca club, with which he became the champion and winner of the Moroccan Cup, scoring 9 times in 24 meetings.
In July 2024, Mauhoub helped the Moroccan national team win the first ever bronze medals at the Olympic Games in France. At the tournament, he took part in 5 meetings and scored 1 goal, after which he signed a long-term contract with Dynamo.
In the 2024/25 season, El-Mehdi played 25 matches for the blue and white, in which he scored 8 times, including a hat-trick in the cup meeting in Samara.
