On Friday, the Dynamo Moscow striker El Mehdi Maouhoub turns 23.
El Mehdi was born in Casablanca and started his career in the capital's club FUS. In the 2022/23 season, he played on loan for Sualem, then moved to the Raja Casablanca, with which he became the champion and winner of the Moroccan Cup, scoring 9 times in 24 matches.
In July 2024, Maouhoub helped the Moroccan national team win the first ever bronze medals at the Olympic Games in France. At the tournament, he took part in 5 matches and scored 1 goal, after which he signed a long-term contract with Dynamo.
In the last two seasons, El Mehdi played 46 matches, in which he scored 11 times.
