On Friday, the famous striker and coach of the Moscow Dynamo Valery Gazzaev turns 72 years old.
Playing for our club from 1979 to 1985, Valery Georgievich played 237 matches and scored 87 goals, still being the third scorer in the history of the blue and white. He also became the best sniper of the Cup Winners' Cup of the 1984/85 season, in which Dynamo reached the semifinals, and also scored the winning goal in the 1984 USSR Cup final.
During his bright coaching career, Gazzaev came to Dynamo twice, leading the team in 1991-1993 and 1999-2001 and winning bronze medals with her at the Russian Championship.
