On Sunday, the famous Dynamo defender, Olympic champion Viktor Losev turns 67 years old.
Viktor Vasilyevich was born in Murom and began his adult career in torpedo teams from Vladimir and Moscow, and moved to Dynamo from Voronezh Fakel in 1986.
For seven seasons as a member of our team, a reliable defender has played 195 official matches and more than 100 of them as captain, winning silver and bronze medals of the USSR championship, as well as bronze of the first Russian championship.
Losev also wore the captain's armband in the USSR Olympic team, with which he won the Olympic gold medal in Seoul in 1988. For this victory he was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports of the USSR.
Viktor Vasilyevich completed his football career at the age of 33 after a serious knee injury. Later he worked as a coach in many teams, and in recent years he has been an active participant in the Dynamo veteran movement.
