
On Sunday, Dynamo Moscow midfielder Jorge Carrascal turns 27.
Jorge was born in Cartagena, Colombia, and has been playing football since childhood. He made his debut at the highest level at the age of 17 in Millonarios, and after the South American youth championship, he left for Sevilla. He later played for Karpaty, and in 2019 he returned to South America, signing a contract with River Plate, and helped the Argentine giants collect a full set of national trophies.
In the winter of 2022, Carrascal returned to Europe and became a CSKA player, winning silver medals in the RPL and the Russian Cup with the team. In August 2023, Jorge signed a contract with the white-blues and in his first season won bronze in the Russian championship with the team. In total, he has 9 goals in 64 matches for Dynamo.
As part of the Colombian national team, Carrascal played 19 matches and scored two goals.
