Dynamo Moscow head coach Sandro Schwarz on Match TV shared his expectations for the derby with Lokomotiv.
– Danil Glebov is coming to the center today. Why did you decide to make a choice in favor of him, and not Timofey Marinkin?
– We decided to release Danil Glebov today because he played very well in the second half of the match with Rodina. He is an important player in the organization of pressure and counter-pressure, and they will be important in today's match.
– How serious is Konstantin Tyukavin's injury? In what ways can Ivan Sergeev be stronger or more diverse than him?
– Kostya is a very important player for us both when playing in the penalty area and outside it, but today he is injured. We can't say for sure when he will return. We have two matches next week, so we will follow the process of his recovery. Today, Vanya is starting, who is a wonderful player with a great character, which he demonstrates every day at every training session.
– Dynamo is in first place in the league in possession of the ball. How satisfied are you with his conversion into scoring chances?
– We looked at the statistics for the first five rounds and found a lot of nice numbers there. But it is important not only to own the ball, but also to enter the final third, the penalty area as often as possible and create scoring chances. In the end, the most important thing is scoring goals. We are happy with the fact that we dominate the matches, and today we want to play the same way.
– Your coaching work is associated with pressure. Are you happy with how the team uses it?
– I am pleased with the way we are developing in this regard. We had a difficult start and, of course, we can play better. Now we need to improve all the components of our game step by step. The most important thing is that our identity is visible.
