The head coach of the blue and whites Sandro Schwarz answered journalists' questions after the victorious match with Rostov (3:0).
– It was a very intense match with an abundance of single combats, rebounds, interceptions, in which we excelled. Yes, it was not the most beautiful game, but the most important thing is that we won. With such an uncomfortable and pressing opponent as Rostov, sometimes you need to find simple solutions, which we did. We scored very timely in the first half and increased our advantage in the second. I am very pleased with our team performance in defense. We have an international break ahead of us, after which we must continue to play in the same spirit.
– It seemed that Rostov could not offer you difficult tasks. Do you agree with this?
– They also tried, at some moments they used very intense pressure. And it was not easy for us to win because of the high-quality game of "Rostov". I am proud of the guys that they looked great in martial arts and achieved a good result, leaving their gates intact for the second time in a row.
– What is the reason for the early replacement of Juan Caceres?
– It was just that he got a yellow card quickly, not how he acted. We knew that the left-back of Rostov is very actively involved in attacks, and we decided not to take any chances. I can say the same about replacing Arthur at half-time. We saw that the referee started issuing warnings from the very beginning of the match, and we didn't want to play in unequal squads, which I drew the guys' attention to during the break.
