Roman Sharonov and Yuri Zhirkov became the new assistants of head coach Rolan Gusev in the coaching staff of Dynamo Moscow, and Agustin Quihillaborda will serve as a physical fitness coach.
Former Russian national team defender Roman Sergeyevich Sharonov, a two-time Russian champion with Rubin Kazan, began his coaching career with the Kazan club. In the 2020/21 season, he was on the coaching staff of Cypriot club Pafos, and from 2022 to 2024, he headed SKA-Khabarovsk. He holds a UEFA Pro license.
Yuri Valentinovich Zhirkov, as a player, won the Russian championship five times, the Russian Cup and Super Cup six times, won the FA Cup and FA Cup with Chelsea, and won the UEFA Cup with CSKA Moscow alongside Rolan Gusev. Zhirkov spent three seasons with Dynamo, making 67 appearances and scoring five goals. He has played over 100 matches for the Russian national team and is a bronze medalist at the 2008 European Championship. He retired from football in 2022.
50-year-old Argentinean specialist Agustin Quihillaborda graduated from the National University of La Plata and has degrees in physiology and physical education. He started his career in football in 2008 at Estudiantes. In addition to Argentina, he worked in Chile, Paraguay, Egypt, the UAE (Al-Nasr in 2021-22) and Saudi Arabia (Al-Hilal in 2016-17, Al-Shabab in 2023 and Al-Safa in 2024-25). Together with Al-Hilal, he won the championship and the Saudi Cup, and also reached the final of the Asian Champions League.
